This Privacy Policy describes how the Apex Turbo Task Planner browser extension (“Apex Turbo”, “the Extension”) and its promotional website treat your data. Apex Turbo is developed and published by VeloLaunch, a software division of Smart Vista IT Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

• No User Accounts: You do not need to register, log in, or provide an email address or password to use Apex Turbo.
• No Remote Data Transmission: The extension makes zero background network requests to any VeloLaunch or third-party servers.
• No Tracking or Analytics: There are no tracking pixels, Google Analytics scripts, or behavioral telemetry bundled in the extension.
• Local Storage Only: All tasks, tags, scratchpad notes, Pomodoro sessions, and daily streaks are stored strictly inside your browser's local sandbox via the Chrome Storage API.
• Complete Control: You can export your entire database as a standard JSON file at any time, or permanently delete everything simply by uninstalling the extension.

Apex Turbo only processes data you explicitly enter into the extension or that is created as a direct result of your interactions. This data is processed exclusively on your machine for the following functional purposes:

A. Task Information

When you add or edit a task, the extension records:

• Task Title & Description: The text content of your task.
• Priority Level: Low, Medium, High, or Critical.
• Category Tag: Work, Design, Launch, Focus, Personal, or custom tags.
• Completion Status: Whether the task is pending, in progress, or completed.
• Creation & Completion Timestamps: Used to display creation order and track completion history.

B. Quick Notes & Scratchpad

The scratchpad notes panel lets you jot down temporary thoughts, meeting notes, or focus memos. This text is stored locally and is never sent across any network.

C. Pomodoro Timer & Focus Sessions

When you launch a Pomodoro focus sprint or rest break, the extension manages:

• Timer duration (default 25 minutes for work, 5 minutes for short break, 15 minutes for long break).
• Total completed focus sessions and daily focus minutes.
• Active task association so you can see which task you were focusing on.

D. Daily Streaks & Midnight Rollover History

To motivate continuous productivity, Apex Turbo maintains a daily streak counter based on whether tasks were completed on consecutive calendar days. Unfinished tasks are automatically rolled over into the new day, and archived summaries of past days are stored locally in your history log.

E. Extension Preferences

Your chosen aesthetic theme (Warm Ivory or Deep Charcoal), audio chime toggle, and daily scheduled reminder alarm time are saved to personalize your experience.

To ensure absolute peace of mind, Apex Turbo has been engineered without the architectural ability to access or collect sensitive user data:

• No Browsing Activity: Apex Turbo cannot see which websites you visit, your browsing history, open tabs, bookmarks, or web searches.
• No Web Page Content: Apex Turbo does not declare content scripts or host permissions. It has zero ability to read, modify, or interact with web pages or form fields.
• No Credentials or Financial Information: We never handle passwords, credit card numbers, payment details, or personal contact identifiers.
• No Keystroke Logging: What you type outside the extension popup is completely invisible and inaccessible to Apex Turbo.
• No Network Requests: The extension service worker does not execute fetch() or XMLHttpRequest calls to transmit data to remote endpoints.
• No Commercial Monetization of Data: We do not sell, rent, license, or broker user data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties under any circumstances.

Chrome extensions must declare the specific browser capabilities they require in their manifest.json. Apex Turbo declares only the minimal set of permissions required to deliver its core task planning and focus features:

Where Is Your Data Kept?

All data is persisted in Chrome’s private extension storage sandbox (chrome.storage.local). It is tied to your specific Google Chrome browser profile and physical computer. Apex Turbo does not use Chrome Sync storage, meaning data is not transmitted through your Google Account to other devices unless you manually export and import a backup.

How Long Is Data Retained?

Your tasks, history, and preferences remain stored locally on your device for as long as you keep the extension installed.

How to Delete Your Data

• Individual Items: You can delete any task, clear completed tasks, or erase your notes directly in the extension popup at any time.
• Complete Removal: Right-click the Apex Turbo extension icon in Chrome and select "Remove from Chrome" (or visit chrome://extensions and click Remove). Chrome instantly and permanently purges the extension's local storage partition from your machine.

We believe you should have total ownership of your productivity records. Apex Turbo includes built-in export and import tools:

• Export Backup: Under Settings, clicking "Backup Tasks (JSON)" triggers an immediate local download of a standardized, human-readable apex-turbo-backup-YYYY-MM-DD.json file.
• Import / Restore: You can restore your backup file onto any computer running Apex Turbo with one click, restoring all tasks, notes, and streak progress seamlessly.

Apex Turbo strictly complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

• The use of permissions and data received from Chrome APIs is strictly restricted to providing and improving the user-facing task planning and Pomodoro focus features of Apex Turbo.
• Data is never transferred to third parties, advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
• Data is never used or transferred for personalized advertising, retargeting, or creditworthiness determinations.
• No humans read your task content or notes because your data is never transferred off your machine.

Apex Turbo does not embed third-party analytics libraries, advertising networks, or social SDKs. The following third parties are relevant solely in the context of extension delivery and outbound links:

• Google Chrome Web Store: Apex Turbo is hosted on and distributed through the Chrome Web Store operated by Google LLC. When you install or update the extension, Google manages the download infrastructure under the Google Privacy Policy.
• External Links: Clicking external links on this website or in the extension (such as links to VeloLaunch or Smart Vista IT Solutions) opens those destinations in a new browser tab. Those websites operate independently under their respective privacy policies.

Because Apex Turbo does not transmit data over the Internet or store your information in cloud databases, it is immune to remote database breaches, server misconfigurations, and man-in-the-middle transmission leaks.

• Manifest V3 Isolation: Built following modern Google Chrome security standards, including strict Content Security Policy (CSP) forbidding remote code execution or arbitrary eval() scripts.
• Local Sandbox: Your stored data is safeguarded by your operating system’s user permissions and Google Chrome’s profile sandboxing.

Apex Turbo is a general productivity tool suitable for users of all ages. Because the extension operates entirely locally without accounts, registration, or data transmission, it does not knowingly collect, store, or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction).

This promotional website (both the home page and this Privacy Policy):

• Does not use tracking cookies, advertising beacons, or third-party behavioral analytics.
• Stores your preferred interface theme (Warm Ivory / Deep Charcoal) locally in your browser’s localStorage so your preference is remembered on return visits.
• Hosts all typography fonts and assets locally on the same server, preventing third-party IP address logging.
